OMAHA, NE — A significant number of CenturyLink customers are without internet in Nebraska on Friday.
Repair workers tell News Channel Nebraska that a 240-fiber bundle was cut by a directional boring company in downtown Omaha. The cut occurred around 10 a.m. and many customers have been without internet since then. Experts tell NCN that it is difficult to estimate how many people are without internet, but that this is considered a large bundle of fibers.
Workers estimate that internet could be restored Saturday morning.
