NORFOLK – Day 2 of Class A girls state golf has been canceled due to poor conditions and weather. The girls with the top scores from yesterday were named the tournament champions.
Jalea Culliver and Kaitlyn Hanna were named co-champions as they tied for the lead with 76 total strokes through 18 holes.
Kate Strickland came in one stroke behind them at 77, but helped her school, Lincoln Southwest, take the first place spot in the team competition. North Platte High School came in second.
