I-29 closed due to flooding; City of Peru looking for volunteers to fill sandbags

NEBRASKA CITY, NE (Hunter Arterburn / News Channel Nebraska) – Flood water covering Interstate 29 near Bartlett, Iowa has closed the road from the Missouri border to Glenwood, and City of Peru officials are asking for volunteers to help fill sandbags.

The Syracuse Auxiliary Thrift Shop will not be accepting donations until March 22, due to water in the basement.
