Lincoln Southwest halts fourth quarter push to advance to state title

LINCOLN – After a slow start from both sides, Lincoln Southwest cruised to a 36-18 lead after 3 quarters. Lincoln East was not ready to give up, scoring 25 points in the final period, pulling within 7 points. Lincoln Southwest would hold on and win by ten, scoring all 17 of their fourth quarter points from the free throw line. The Silver Hawks won 53-43 behind 20 points from Jaden Ferguson.
