Omaha South Ends Fremont’s Run in Class A Finals

LINCOLN – Despite a four point lead entering the half, Fremont fell to top seeded Omaha South in the Class A State Championship on Saturday night.

The Tigers were held to four third quarter points as the Packers outscored them 33-20 in the second half. Omaha South went on to win 59-50.

Caleal Walker scored 20 points and Aguek Arop finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Packers. They finished undefeated in the state of Nebraska with their only win coming to Aurora (Overland, CO).
