Scotus Volleyball Avenges Loss to #7 Neumann, Plays Aquinas in Conference Tourney Semis

COLUMBUS, Neb. – After losing to the Wahoo Neumann Lady Cavaliers on Tuesday, the Scotus girls volleyball team got them back on Thursday.

Scouts beat Neumann 19-25, 25-22, 25-22 on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Centennial Conference Tournament.

Elley Beaver led the way with 13 kills, with Madison Kerkman and Courtney Kosch recorded 6 kills a piece.

Kayla Hall led in digs with 18, Kosch came in second with 13.

Neumann previously defeated Scotus 3-1 on Tuesday night in Wahoo.

SCC will face off against Aquinas, who upset Fremont Bergan (#4 in C2) 2-1. The Shamrocks and Monarchs will play at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
