911 Service is Off, in SE Nebraska

BEATRICE – Emergency 911 service is down, in southeast Nebraska this morning.  An interruption of service has affected several counties, including Gage, Jefferson, Saline, Johnson and Seward Counties.

It’s unclear what prompted the loss of service.

Beatrice Police Chief Bruce Lang says Windstream officials are working on resolving the problem in the system.

Locally, persons in the Southeast Communications Center district who have an emergency, can call 402-223-4080.

In Johnson and Pawnee Counties, if you have an emergency, you can call 402-335-3307.
