A Fremont Man was Arrested for Possession of a Deadly Weapon

FREMONT – A Fremont man was arrested for multiple charges on Tuesday.

According to Lt. Bottorff with the Fremont Police Department, on Tuesday at 9:49 p.m. officers attempted to make contact with an individual who had a possible active warrant at a location in the 1600 block of N. Bell Street. During the attempt to make contact the individual fled on foot, but was apprehended. As a result 38-year-old Jeremy E. Rousseau of Fremont was arrested for Obstruction of a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon.
