Blizzard Warning Issued for Nance, Polk, Merrick Counties

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for several counties, including Nance, Polk, Merrick, and Hall Counties.

The NWS says 45 to 55 mile per hour winds, along with 3 to 5 inches of snow will cause blizzard conditions. Winds are expected to be north-northwest, and significant drifting is anticipated, says the NWS.

Localized amounts north of Highway 92 could be as high as 8 inches, says the NWS.

The Blizzard Warning is in effect from 1 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
