Briggs and Barrett Project Hosts Big Giveaway in Norfolk

NORFOLK- Two Norfolk moms are on a quest to make sure that tragedy doesn’t strike again. The Briggs and Barrett Project was started by two Norfolk mothers, in memory of their sons, Briggs and Barrett who both died of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

The Briggs and Barrett project gave away 50 Owlet monitors in Norfolk Monday night. “It makes us feel so good to think about those 50 families who now have peace of minds with their little ones.”

The Owlet Smart Sock Monitors track a baby’s heart rate and oxygen level with a special sock they were on their foot, and an app to keep track.

Owlets can be found on their website at The Briggs and Barrett project also match every owlet purchased and gifts them to a family in need. They said this wouldn’t be possible without their Premier Marketing Sponsors.

They have more events coming up so be sure to follow their Facebook page.
