CCH Asking For Public’s Help In National Contest

COLUMBUS – The Columbus Community Hospital is asking for the Columbus community’s help in a national contest called “My Hospital, My Community.”

The hospital is looking for community members to share stories about their experiences with CCH, and the hospital could win up to $15,000. The contest was created to draw national attention to the importance of rural health care and health care workers, by sharing personal stories from community hospitals across the country.

Organizers are encouraging the community to craft creative entries that demonstrate the impact CCH has on the community, and answer the question, “What does Columbus Community Hospital mean to you?”

Every time someone answers that question, CCH will be entered to win one of five cash prizes. The grand prize-winning hospital will receive $15,000, and second – fifth place winners will receive $7,000, $5,000, $2,000, or $1,000, respectively.

To enter the contest, the hospital is asking community members to submit a written, photo, or video entry to https://bitly.com/mhmc2018, email submissions to info@columbushosp.org, or to mail your story to the following address:

Columbus Community Hospital
Attn: Marketing Department
4600 38th Street
Columbus, NE 68602-7118

The deadline to submit entries is October 17, and more information on the contest can be found at the hospital’s website.
