NORFOLK – Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk is being placed in some rarefied air.
Hospital officials announced Friday that they’ve been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review in their list of 100 Great Community Hospitals for 2018 (FULL LIST AT THIS LINK).
“This is a tremendous honor for Faith Regional Health Services,” says Kelly Driscoll, Interim President and CEO of Faith Regional. “It’s because of the outstanding dedication by the medical staff, nurses, and our healthcare professionals across the organization to implementing best practices and providing our patients with the best possible experience that we are recognized in prestigious publications, like Becker’s Healthcare.”
This isn’t the only time in the last month that FRHS has received kudos from the national publication. In July, they named Faith Regional’s Chief Information Officer Brian Sterud among their list of 90 health care leaders under 40 as a rising star in the industry.
“I feel honored and humbled to be included with this list of extraordinary individuals from across the nation,” says Brian Sterud, Chief Information Officer at Faith Regional. “None of these recognitions can be achieved without a great team and a great organization, like Faith Regional Health Services. We continue to grow our services and increase the quality of care for our patients across Northeast Nebraska. These awards are simply a byproduct of this great effort.”
