Fremont Police Investigation Results in Ten Minor in Possession Citations

FREMONT – Multiple citations for the charge of Minor in Possession were given at a residence in Fremont.

According to Lt. Ed Watts with the Fremont Police Department, at approximately 11 p.m. on Friday officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1900 block of N. Platte Avenue, where it was reported there were minors consuming alcoholic beverages. Upon arrival officers noted several people who appeared to be under the age of 21 consuming alcoholic beverages both outside and inside the residence.

As a result of their investigation ten people under the age of 21 were cited for being minors in possession of alcoholic beverages. Colin E. Right, age 20 of Fremont, was also cited for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor for allowing minors to consume alcoholic beverages at his residence.
