Fremont Police Investigate Another Vehicle Break-In

FREMONT – The Fremont Police Department received another report of a theft from a vehicle.

According to Lt. Watts at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday officers were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of W. 11th Street.

A vehicle was parked in the driveway.

Items taken included various tools, including a cordless drill,  tool belt, hammer, and possibly other items. The estimated loss was $500.

There were two hit-and-run reports on Wednesday.

Officers responded to an accident in the 2500 block of Missouri Avenue. The victim’s car was parked in the street when it was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the area. The estimated damage value was $750.

And at approximately 2:45 p.m. a hit-and-run was reported at Howard Elementary School. An individual reported their car was parked on 3rd Street when it eas hit. The damage was estimated at $1,000.

Also on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of 800 Broad Street regarding a fight  The investigation showed a woman at the residence was assaulted by her boyfriend, who had left the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.
