Fuel Leak to Blame for Wednesday Evening Car Fire

NORFOLK, NE — Norfolk Fire and Rescue responded to a car fire Wednesday evening.

At around 8:00 p.m., light smoke and flames were seen coming from a car on South 4 street.

It took four firefighters about three minutes to control the fire and another ten minutes to overhaul the car.

The cause of the fire was because of a fuel leak.

The damage of the car is estimated at around $800 worth of damage.

The Norfolk Police Department also assisted Norfolk Fire.
