BEATRICE – Jefferson Community Health and Life held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening Sunday, of the hospital’s new clinic in Plymouth.
JCH-and-L Chief Executive Officer Chad Jurgens says the clinic, which opened after the Labor Day Holiday weekend, is seeing patients on Tuesday and Thursday of each week.

Certified Physician Assistants Kelsey Cherry and Tyler Maguire will staff the clinic Tuesdays and Thursdays…ten a.m. to noon, and one p.m. to four p.m. Appointments can be made Monday through Friday.

The clinic is located at a building along Nebraska Highway Four that currently houses four other businesses. They include P-Town Fitness, Live Love Dance, P-Town’s Daily Grind and Barefoot Buddies Daycare. A restaurant, Hometown Eatery is expected to open as the sixth occupant in the coming months.
Jefferson Community Health and Life Board President Brian Scheele (SHEE-lee), who owns Plymouth Electric, says the clinic is a step toward keeping people in good health outside the hospital setting.

The Plymouth Clinic will offer physical exams, preventative care, acute and chronic illness treatment, laboratory and radiology services and minor surgeries and procedures.
