FREMONT – There were no witnesses to a theft at a construction site.
According to Sgt. Brad Hansen with the Fremont Police Department, at approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday officers were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Lincoln Avenue in reference to a theft. Upon arrival contact was made with construction crews at the location. The crews indicated that at some point over the night unknown parties had stolen two 16-foot aluminum panels. There are no known suspects and there were no witnesses. The estimated loss was $265.
And at 9:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 400 block of E. 23rd Street in reference to a disturbance. Officers made contact with the victim who stated Cheryl A. Stastny came there and created a disturbance. An investigation was completed and Stastny was located. She was cited and released for Disturbing the Peace and Disorderly Conduct.
