NORFOLK — A northeast Nebraska man had a rude awakening early Thursday morning.
27-year-old Kody J. Bromley of Tilden was arrested after Norfolk police officers found him asleep on a bucket inside a stranger’s house around 4:30 AM.
According to a news release from Norfolk Police Captain Michael Bauer, officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of Adams Avenue at 4:22 AM to investigate an unknown male subject inside the tenants’ house. Fresh footprints in the snow lead to the back entrance of the house, which the tenants say they left unlocked. Bromley was found inside.
Bauer says officers woke up Bromley and observed that he appeared confused. He was questioned and arrested for 1st degree criminal trespassing. He is being housed in Madison County Jail.
