More truckloads of farm goods come into Nebraska – this time from Ohio

VERDIGRE, NE – Farming supplies are still making their way to Nebraska nearly a month after the devastating floods swept through the state.

This weekend, a total of 18 trucks loaded up donated supplies in Ohio and made the trip across the Midwest, ending up in Verdigre, Nebraska. Resources such as hay, feed, straw bales, and fencing supplies were among the loads that are now in the hands of Nebraska farmers in need.

Even as time has passed since the flooding, farmers in Nebraska are still strapped with hardships and concerns when it comes to their businesses. However, hay and supply deliveries like this one are taking the weight off of many shoulders in Nebraska.

The delivery is just one of the many convoys that made their way to Nebraska in the last month, and it serves as a great example of how a little help from some strangers can turn a tragedy into an inspiration.
