Music Educators Launch New Nonprofit Organization

COLUMBUS – Two Columbus residents are launching a new organization to provide music instruction for rural communities in Nebraska.

Anthony Burnham and Michael Klee have created the Arbor Arts Collective, and will offer private instruction, group instruction, and clinician work for young people interested in music. they will also work to create community ensembles and bands the provide musicians from all ages and backgrounds with an opportunity to perform.

Burnham and Klee are looking to create groups in more rural communities where performance opportunities may be more limited. Burnham currently serves as the instrumental music instructor at Central Community College in Columbus, and Klee teaches percussion at Columbus High School, Columbus Middle School, and Scotus Central Catholic.
