NORFOLK, NE — Majestic Lake is nearing the development stage as Norfolk Planning Commissioners cleared a hurdle as developers are looking to build more homes in the Norfolk area.
City Planner Val Grimes says, “Majestic Lake had their preliminary plat on there, and since they pride it it gives them the go ahead now to begin preparing the final plat.”
The proposed area is still needs the approval by city council for a zoning change before moving forward.
The commission also approved to a zoning change that will expand the medical offices of Faith Regional Health Services.
That location will be across the street from the hospital at the southwest corner of 27 Street and Norfolk Avenue.
The medical office complex, that could potentially be connect to FRHS by skywalk over Norfolk Avenue, will be four stories tall and have a total 109,000 sq. feet of floor space.
