Norfolk Man Arrested After Assaulting a Female Twice

NORFOLK, NE — A Norfolk man is behind bars after assaulting a female with a knife, twice.

According to the victim the assaults took place on March 14 and March 15.

On the March 14 assault, 26-year old Jose Ramos took a knife out of his pocket and placed it against the female’s throat, according to police reports.

Witnesses to the assault as well as Ramos himself were interviewed. Ramos was arrested for 3rd degree domestic assault and terroristic threats.

He was housed in the Norfolk jail before being transferred to Madison.
