NORFOLK – A Northeast Nebraska woman is in jail after allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Norfolk Police responded to a disturbance at the 100 block of Miller Avenue just after midnight on November 4th.
On arrival, officers reported a female being restrained by another person. When officers told the woman to let her go, 21-year-old Claudia Hernandez attacked an officer and pushed him into a wall.
Officers struggled with Hernandez and arrested her for assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.
She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
