NORFOLK – Traffic lights in a busy Norfolk intersection are down, causing headaches for drivers.
According to a news release from the City of Norfolk, the traffic signals at the intersection of Riverside Boulevard and Benjamin Avenue are having issues due to a bad underground wire.
The city says the Street Division will be working on replacing the wires Thursday and expect the lights to be back up by tomorrow evening.
Currently, the traffic lights at this intersection are flashing red in all directions.
The city is urging drivers to use caution when driving in the area.
