One taken to hospital after two vehicle crash

NORFOLK-  Some drivers are recovering after an accident in Norfolk Friday afternoon.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue responded to a call just after 1:30 PM at the intersection of 13th and Prospect Ave.

A witness says a van hit the passenger side of another vehicle causing the car to go over a snow bank, which lodged the vehicle up against a house. The witness says one driver told him that she hit her legs, but faces non-life-threatening injuries, while one woman was taken to Faith Regional Hospital. The extent of injuries is unknown at the time.

According to the witness, there were 5 people involved in the accident. Both vehicles appeared to have undergone significant damage.

Three ambulances were present and were treating individuals at the scene.

The cause of the accident is still unknown.
