Orphan Grain Train Assisting Victims of Recent Prairie Fires

NORFOLK, NE — After recent disastrous prairie fires that have swept across large areas of Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado, The Orphan Grain Train wants you to know they are here to help.

Two semi-trailer loads of high quality barbed wire has been purchased by Orphan Grain Train in order to reduce the cost of rebuilding pasture fencing.

Orphan Grain Train plans to send the first load March 20 to Haxton, Colorado where a Cattleman’s association will distribute the load. Next load will be delivered to Ashland, Kansas.

Orphan Grain Train is also accepting semi-loads of donated hay as well as locating truckers with the proper equipment for hauling hay.

Orphan Grain Train reps say that it is only through the generosity of their supporters that they are able to provide the much-needed relief. V
