PIERCE – Through eight games, the Pierce Blue Jays are unbeaten. They are averaging 50 points a game and have yet to score fewer than 42 points this season.
So what’s left to improve upon as the post-season draws near?
Head Coach Mark Brahmer says the Blue Jays are continually working to shore things up on the defensive side of the ball. The effort has shown. Pierce’s opponents were averaging 25 points per game through their first four games. Over their last four, the Jays have held the other teams to an average of 12 points per game.
Pierce’s final regular season test will be at home against Boone Central/Newman Grove.
