Pitzer Digital is celebrating the growth of their hyper-local media company that owns and operates newspapers, online news, and marketing services.
Carrie Pitzer says her company serves rural communities with news and provides advanced technology for businesses.
“I think people would be surprised at the type of things that we offer. We are kind of a one-stop shop for everything. We are media, we are marketing, but we also serve a small town,” said Pitzer.
Pitzer Digital’s new building is twenty times bigger than the previous one, and in April, the Antelope County News was named the top weekly newspaper of all sizes in Nebraska.
Pitzer has also added ‘Living Here’ magazine to its publishing efforts. The monthly magazine covers Northeast Nebraska and Southeast South Dakota, focusing on the history, heritage, and culture of both states.
According to Pitzer, she chose to build her company in Neligh on purpose, because small towns are fantastic.
“So, why Neligh? Why should that be our home base? Because there are fantastic people and we can bring hyperlocal news and technology advances to people here,” said Pitzer.
The future of Pitzer Digital is bright as they hope to keep growing.
“We don’t really think outside of the box, we left the box years ago. So, where will we be? Somewhere going that way (up), and hopefully taking Northeast Nebraska with us,” concluded Pitzer.
Pitzer Digital is located on 314 M Street, in Neligh, Nebraska.
