COLUMBUS – A Columbus trucking dealership has expanded their business to meet customer demand.
Sahling Kenworth held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their Columbus facility on Monday afternoon, commemorating an expansion project that broke ground this past May. The company added four new service bays, and a combined 62,000 square feet of space to the business.
Members of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives from Sahling Kenworth were in attendance at the ceremony. The expansion was needed due to growing demand from the dealership’s customers, and the new service bays will eliminate the two-to-three day wait for customers waiting for work to be done on their trucking equipment.
The project was completed by BD Construction, and Sahling Kenworth used local vendors for the majority of the needs on the expansion.
