Scout Paper, Aluminum Can Drive Scheduled For Saturday

WAYNE – Both the Wayne and Wakefield Boy Scouts will be holding their monthly paper and aluminum can drive Saturday, June 17.

Paper items should be placed in paper grocery bags or boxes and set by the curb at 8 a.m. along with aluminum cans for pick up.

Acceptable paper items include newspapers, magazines, office papers, phone books and paperback books. Hard back books are acceptable but they ask for you to please remove the cover.

No plastic, cardboard, trash or items with a spiral binding (such as plastic or metal) can be mixed in with the paper.

Recyclables for the Wayne Scouts may also be dropped off at the Scout trailer at the Transfer Station in Wayne. In the Wakefield area, if you need items picked before the third Saturday of the month, contact Cheryl Roberts at 402-369-1884.
