SE District Probation Rooms to Be Dedicated to Public Servants

BEATRICE – The remodeled Nebraska Probation and Reporting Center in Beatrice will soon have two rooms named for persons who dedicated their lives to public service.

Chief of the Southeast Nebraska Probation Office, Jeremy Behrends says a dedication ceremony is planned Thursday, November 2nd (3 p.m.), to name two meeting rooms after the late Cliff Wolf Jr., and the late Jeremy Wach.

The naming is being done to recognize both men’s dedication, service and leadership in Gage County.

Behrends says with changes in state law that emphasize probation over prison, the Beatrice probation office and reporting center has been very busy.

The probation office and reporting center is located on the second floor of the Beatrice Police Headquarters building.
