Sex Offender Arrested for Violating Registry

NORFOLK – Police have a Norfolk man in jail for violating sex offender registry.

During their last monthly check on offenders in the area, the Norfolk Police Division learned that Vernon S. Munson was no longer living at his registered address.

An investigation uncovered where Munson was currently living.

By Nebraska State law, a registered sex offender
must report a change in their address, to the local Sheriff’s Office, three days before moving.

Munson had been living at the residence three weeks.

Officers arrested Munson for sex offender registry violation.
