Gage Area Growth Enterprise Executive Director Walker Zulkoski says the hope is to use the consultant study results to convince developers to look at the area, for new lodging construction.

The study made recommendations about what should be included in any new lodging facility, such as meeting or convention space, pool and breakfast facilities. It did not make any recommendation regarding related services nearby, such as a new restaurant.
Meanwhile, a separate consultant study regarding retail marketing of the downtown Beatrice area is yet to be finalized.
