Wayne Green Team To Host Chamber Coffee Friday, Movie Sunday Along With WSC Green Team And Museum Of Natural History

WAYNE – With Earth Day approaching later this week, the Wayne Green Team is planning a “Zero Waste” Chamber Coffee event.

Friday morning Chamber Coffee will be held on April 21 at 10 a.m. from the Coffee Shoppe.

The community will hear about the recent glass recycling pick-up, grant awards and more. Also, make sure to bring your own mug for coffee.

Earth Day is Saturday, April 22.

Moving to Sunday, April 23 the WSC Green Team, the A. Jewell Schock Museum of Natural History will join the Wayne Green Team in hosting a free screening of the documentary “Just East It” (75 minutes).

The film is a food waste story by Peg Leg Films in association with Knowledge Network, held at the Majestic Theatre in Wayne at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for exhibits, raffles and discussion.

Tickets for the raffle are one for $5 or five for $20 and serve as a fundraiser for the WSC Green Team. Make sure also to bring your own popcorn container and cup to the movie to make it a zero waste event.
