FREMONT – Tickets are now available for the White Light City Film Festival next week.
Fremont’s White Light City Film Festival kicks off on Monday, November 6th. The whole week will be filled with events and workshops, along with the film screenings. Executive Director Stacy Heatherly says they are bringing in industry professionals to hold each workshop.
“For the film festival workshops we bring in educators in the film industry and professionals who are pretty well-known in the industry. We’re also bringing in Tristan Rogers,” said Heatherly. “He is a well-known television actor. He’s an actor on several soap operas. We had an overwhelming response and requests to bring him back. So he’s teaching a workshop.”
Rogers will be teaching a television acting workshop. Other workshops will educate those in attendance on screenwriting, ethics in the film industry, and film distribution. The film screenings will take place on Saturday and Sunday next week. Heatherly says their public awareness film this year is called EMBRACE.
“We also book the entire theater for our public awareness film, which this year is a film out of the U.K. titled EMBRACE. It’s a body image movement film,” said Heatherly. “We’re very excited to bring it to Fremont.”
Tickets and packages to the events, a schedule, or more information are all available at thediggsite.org or on their Facebook page The Digg Site Productions.
