Battle Creek Coach Wants to Keep Team From Getting Fatigued

WEST POINT – Tuesday night was just the fourth time that Battle Creek played in a best-of-five match this season.

Coach Cody Wintz said after the match that may have played in the fatigue he saw in the team over the final three sets.

Battle Creek was able to overcome it in their win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic Tuesday, but the Bravettes have a tough slate of games coming up, with O’Neill, Wayne and Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family still ahead of them in the regular season. After that, it’s the Mid-State Conference tournament and a sub-district that includes #1 Stanton and #7 Clarkson/Leigh.
