Class C: Frost Will Delay Day Two of State Tournament

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. – Day two of the Class C girls golf state tournament a Lake Maloney Golf Course in North Platte will be delayed one hour Tuesday due to frost.

The first tee time will be at 10:30 a.m. with Chadron senior Ricki Hickstein leading after a day one total of 72 (even par).

Johnson County Central junior Erika Cruz leads the Thunderbirds in a tie for 44th with a 103 (+31). JCC sits in 15th place in the team standings with a total of 468. Ogallala leads after day one with a 363.

Palmyra senior Mikayla Roeder is in a tie for 50th after shooting 105 (+33) and HTRS senior Amber Blank shot a 108 (+36) to position herself in a tie for 57th.
