Class C Girls Golf Final Day Results

NORTH PLATTE – Following an hour delay due to frost in North Platte, Class C NSAA State golfers were back on the course Tuesday.

From Lake Maloney Golf Course, the second round took place.

Ogallala shot the team low score 723 from both 18-hole rounds, holding off Chadron in second (757) and Lincoln Christian placed third (784).

Other team scores: Broken Bow (fourth – 790), Cozad (fifth – 800), Kearney (T-sixth 0 812), Columbus Scotus (T-sixth – 812), Pierce (eighth – 813), Hartington Cedar Catholic (ninth – 821), Mitchell (10th – 829), Archbishop Bergan (11th – 832), Lincoln Lutheran (12th – 834), O’Neill (13th – 846), Shelby-Rising City (14th – 888) and Johnson County Central (15th – 926).

Individually, senior Ricki Hickstein of Chadron shot two-under following an even round one.

Junior Paige Peters of Thurston-Cuming and senior Cassidy Ulrich of Hartington Cedar Catholic both led area Class C golfers tying for fourth with a 165. Senior Chelsey Reifert of Norfolk Catholic tied for seventh (171).

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge golfers found junior Brook Young tied for 18th (188) while senior Nicole Hanson tied for 31st (196).
