HIGHLIGHTS: Reifenrath, Hillis Lead Cedar Catholic In Sweep of Battle Creek

Girls: HCC 48 Battle Creek 33
Anna Reifenrath had a big game and the Lady Trojans controlled the whole way to claim a 48-33 win over Battle Creek in the last regular season win of the year. HCC ends the year 12-8 while the Bravettes finish 10-12.

Boys HCC 50 Battle Creek 41
The Trojan boys started strong and made enough shots in the fourth quarter to hold off Battle Creek for a 50-41 win. Stephen Hillis had 10 points in the first quarter and Cedar Catholic held a 16-8 lead going into the second. Then, the Braves figured out the Trojans’ 2-3 zone and won the second quarter 20-10 to take a 28-26 advantage to halftime. The Braves made timely three pointers and converted on free throws late in the game to earn the win. HCC hosts Lutheran High Northeast next while Battle Creek finishes the regular season at O’Neill.
