Norfolk Catholic Goes 2-0 on Monday

GRAND ISLAND – The Lutheran High/Norfolk Catholic boys made their trip to Grand Island worth it on Monday.

The Class B No. 9 Knights grabbed two wins in their double header, posting a shut out in both.

It was a first half goal that propelled Norfolk Catholic past Scottsbluff. Christian Prim found the back of the net before halftime, and the Knights would hold on for the 1-0 win.

Norfolk Catholic would take down Gering 3-0 in their second contest of the day. The Knights took a 2-0 lead into halftime and netted after the break to grab the 3-0 victory. Seniors Prim, Jacob Molacek, and Jacob Beed all scored for Norfolk Catholic in the winning effort.

The Knights travel to Omaha Concordia (2-8) on Thursday.
