GRAND ISLAND, Neb.- According to police, a Grand Island man took a car for a test drive and just kept going.
That landed Rafael Dominquez Ramos in jail accused of car theft.
Police tell Telemundo Nebraska that Ramos insists he didn’t steal the car but when officers found Ramos the wheels were painted and Ramos’ personal belongings were packed inside.
Ricardo Pascual, the owner of Latino Auto Sales Dealer on East 5th Street says he waited several hours before calling police adding this isn’t the first time a test drive went bad.
“It happened before and I recovered my car a week later.”
