GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska. – A Grand Island man, accused of hitting and threatening his girlfriend, is facing several charges including third-degree domestic assault.
Police say 58-year-old Winfield Copley was arrested Monday after repeatedly punching his girlfriend, Rosemary Flores, in the face near 7th and West Stolley Park Road.
Police obtained a search warrant for Copley’s residence and say they found drug paraphernalia, marijuana and 68 grams of amphetamine.
Copley is also facing charges of marijuana possession, drug paraphernalia, terroristic threats, distribution of a controlled substance in a school zone and drug dealer tax stamp.
