LINCOLN, Nebraska. – A woman in Lincoln is facing criminal charges in connection with a hit-and-run accident that left a man’s leg partially amputated last month.

According to police, 21-year-old Shanice Turner, allowed Deaubre Gardner to drive her car, which resulted in a road rage incident with Steven Collins near 41st Street and Huntington Avenue on August 31.

Turner was arrested on Wednesday and is being held on a $50,000 bond at the Lancaster County jail. Gardner remains on the loose with a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
