LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a vandalism at U.S. Senator Deb Fischer’s downtown Lincoln office.

The suspect or suspects used paint to write profanity on the door of Senator Fischer’s office.

Chalk was also used to show discontent — writing, “Trickle down is a lie” and “Never trust a land thief with your well-being.”

Over the weekend, Senator Fischer voted in favor of the GOP tax plan.

Last week, Senator Fischer spoke on the floor of the Senate in favor of the bill saying, “My priorities for tax reform have always been threefold: delivering relief to the middle class, unleashing small business growth, and making our country competitive globally.”
