Norfolk Man Sentenced to Terroristic Threats and Child Abuse Charges

MADISON, NE — A Norfolk man is heading to prison after allegedly threatened to cut the throat of his daughter.

22-year old Alberto Pineda was sentenced in Madison County District Court on Friday to terroristic threats, child abuse and a protection order violation. Pineda will serve six years in prison.

In August of 2016, police say a domestic dispute led Pineda to lock himself in an apartment and threatening to cut the throat of his 18-month old daughter.

Pineda asked Judge Mark Johnson to judge his case with an open mind.

After Pineda’s prison term he will be on probation for three years.
