NORFOLK, NE - A car is totaled and a school bus is damaged after a Tuesday morning collision in northeast Nebraska.

First responders received a call of a car versus bus crash in the 800 block of Benjamin Avenue in Norfolk just after 11:30. Norfolk Rescue responded to the crash but authorities on scene say nobody needed transport to the hospital. There were no students in the bus.

Police say the car rear-ended the bus but further details are unavailable.

Westbound traffic was shut down and eastbound traffic was cut to one lane as the scene was cleaned up.
