NORTH BEND, NE (News Channel Nebraska) - Two motorcycle drivers are recovering from serious injuries after an early-morning accident Monday.

Dodge County authorities say it happened along Highway 30 about two miles east of North Bend just after 6 am.

Authorities say 28-year old Zachary Toebben of Fremont was eastbound on a motorcycle when he tried to pass another vehicle. Sheriff's officials say he then collided with a westbound motorcycle driven by 33-year old Corey Christensen of Omaha.

Both drivers are said to have suffered serious leg injuries but both are expected to survive.
