Three arrested in Lincoln drug investigation
LINCOLN, NE (Matthew Walsh / News Channel Nebraska) - Three people are arrested and several pounds of drugs are off the streets after a months-long investigation by Lincoln and Lancaster County authorities.
On April 2nd, 38-year-old Jeremiah Burkhart was arrested for possession of more than 800 grams of meth with intent to deliver.
Police say during that time, authorities served a search warrant at 2 homes in Lincoln, one which Burkhart shared with 21-year-old Dusty Huey and another of 23-year-old Anna Chernyy.
During the searches, police found 200 grams of meth, among other drugs, in both homes.
The task force recovered a total of 3 and a half pounds of meth, 15 grams of heroin, 1 ounce of cocaine, and a handgun.
All three were arrested on drug charges.
