Police responded to a burglar alarm at Twin Rivers Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram. Lieutenant Jay Murphy says someone gained entrance to the dealership by breaking out a window to a door on the east side of the business. Murphy says a person or persons tried unsuccessfully to open a safe, doing damage to it. He says it appears the person or persons rummaged through an office area.

No arrest has been made.

The alarm sending police to the scene came in at 4:01 a.m., was showing motion in the dealership's showroom, according to a Southeast Communications Center dispatch.
