Driver in crash that killed UNK students last year now facing felony manslaughter charges
A former Elm Creek woman facing 3 counts of motor vehicle homicide has had her charges amended to manslaughter.
OVERTON - A former Elm Creek woman facing 3 counts of motor vehicle homicide has had her charges amended to manslaughter.
The Nebraska State Patrol says 21-year-old Angelique Kampmann collided with a vehicle while driving under the influence between Overton and Elm Creek on October 16th. The crash resulted in the deaths of 20-year-old Donald Anderson, 27-year-old Karli Michael, and 18-year-old Ziera Nickerson.
Kampmann also faces a count of DUI with causing serious bodily injury and DUI first offense. Kampmann will next appear in Dawson County District Court for a pretrial hearing on September 20th.
